My Brother... that's my brother SE-350 Embroidery and Sewing Enthusiast !
I bought it back in December on sale and we've been having fun together ever since!
With these cold rainy days, it's nice to have a friend to play with indoors. The two of us have been crafting up a storm!
First... I sewed the baby bedding and bedskirt, then embroidered some burp cloths, napkins and golf towels. Then I recovered the glider cushions, made pillows and sewed the curtains. And now, just for fun on this snowy rainy day, I made this baby banner:
First... I embroidered the "ahoy" and "it's a BOY" with my brother. Then I cut out the triangles, two for each, sewed them right sides together, turned them right side out, pressed them, and sewed them all to this double fold bias tape with a zig zag stitch. TaDa!I bought it back in December on sale and we've been having fun together ever since!

Kelly and Linc can hang it over their front door when they bring baby C home!

That looks great!!! Can't wait to display it =)
ReplyDeleteHopefully it won't be long now...oxoxoox
Oooo, a new toy! How fun! Love the banner. There must also be a wall in the baby's room it could hang until he's 18! :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteThat is quite the snazzy toy! I have always wanted a sewing machine that embroiders. Of course, it would help if I could also sew first! But, I do love it. Thanks so much for your kind words. I was delighted to get your comment - I "recognized" you right away - and no wonder; a girl from Huntington! Two weeks to go until the baby comes! I can only imagine the joy - can't wait to see the pictures. Thanks again - I love your blog. XOXO
ReplyDeleteOMG! That is just too precious! I can only imagine how excited you all are and wish you all the best. Actually, I can't wait to see the little bundle!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited that he's here! I can't believe he came on Kelly's birthday, I was way way off! And what an adorable banner. We are doing Laura's slumber party today but tomorrow I am going to see that baby!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute and congrats to the new parents!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up today,
Kim
