Our house was built in 1990. We just got a new roof with our Insurance, thanks to the hail storm in March last year. We had a dumpster in our driveway for ~a week to accommodate the old roof shingles and whatever else had to come off and be replaced. With our house being almost 20 years old, so were the overgrown shrubs in the front. The dumpster was ready and waiting, and we couldn't help ourselves! We cut down the 3 beyond large evergreens, and threw them in.
So... here's the before
with the shrubs ripped out,
and then the after...
with new spruces, ilex, violas, ivy and mini wood chips for our new front face lift.
