We kicked off the season yesterday with a cookie exchange/SEC football party at a friends house. A great idea! Football to entertain and appetizers and cookies to feast on. The chefs all brought 3 dozen of their favorite cookie and 12 copies of the recipe. They were laid out on plates with their identifying name, but not who baked them, shhh, a secret!

The winner for "best tasting" ... taDa... was the Chocolate Mintie. Baked by Grad Girl, a proven wonderful chef! A chocolate cookie with an Andee's candy swirled on top while fresh out of the oven to make a minty icing, yum!
Our hostess provided us with these festive bags to take home a sampling of all the cookies

the little cheese cakes in the colorful wrappers won "best looking"
but the Oatmeal chocolate chip with the strawberry jam on top won best tasing by my husband!It was a deliciously fun time!
