to all my Peeps... marshmallow that is!

Did you love Peeps as a kid?
When I was young, we had yellow chick Peeps, only chicks,
only yellow.

Now... you can get them in so many different colors and animal shapes for every holiday.
I like the pink bunnies for decorating cupcakes...

isn't this a cute idea for your Easter baking?!

Or how about these bunny cupcakes using regular marshmallows
cut and shaped like bunny ears!
The pink dyed sugar sticks to the gooey marshmallow center.

Carrots are a bit more of a "mature" theme to decorate your cupcakes, don't you think?

I'm lovin' these birds nests with candy eggs... I do love coconut!

And... a bit more complicated to decorate, but oh so adorable... pots of colorful flowers.

Perfect for your spring time celebrations! What are you baking for Easter this year?

linky love at NFF, join the fun!

  1. You should try roasting peeps. They're actually quite tasty. Yes, I know its random. Its things like this that happen when you grow up in a small town in the middle of nowhere.

  3. I always liked the idea of Peeps - the yellow color is so happy, but the taste... well, not so much. I am definately going to use the idea of the pink bunny peeps on my Easter cupcakes! And I think it would be a great idea to send into my daughter's class - 7th grade and they still love their cupcakes!

  4. I think Peeps are so adorable. I just don't like to eat them. They are too sugary for me!

BUT they are so cute! I love the ghost Peeps at Halloween. I always buy them for my boys' hot chocolate.

Thank you for the fun post! You have inspired me to make some Easter cupcakes. =) I really like the bird's nest cupcakes!

    Have a GREAT weekend!
