Okay...I won't post walls stripped of wallpaper for the next 2 weeks, but... I was encouraged by the amount of progress we made today in just a couple of hours. This wallpaper was put on by the builder, who did not prime the drywall first...
so we are damaging the top layer a bit. My plan is to prime these areas first and then spackle. Yes... a lot of work before we even get to the painting!
Keep me motivated please! We can do this!!!

ReplyDeleteOh I hear you I've don't the wallpaper removal from unprimed wall thing a number of times. The first couple of times I was traumatised at how much I gutted up the surface...then I realized that spackle can fix just about anything. The whole process always takes longer then I anticipate though. Look forward to seeing the end result.
