Procrastinators Anonymous

I'm officially joining the Procrastinators Party!
I started this wallpaper stripping project back in the summer and haven't worked on it in months, but... I want it done by Thanksgiving. I want the wallpaper stripped and the painting done. We already have all the new bedding, so all that's left is the labor.
I just finished another project that had dragged on for too many months and this one is up next! My problem is I love to do the planning and the design, the shopping too, but then there's the actual work.
So here it goes... accountability! Here's the before, the right now, the current state of affairs:

Okay folks... tomorrow (since it's so late tonight) I start!
See you in 2 weeks!

  1. Yikes, I do my fair share of painting around here, okay, I do ALL the painting around here, but I have never had to strip off wallpaper first. Good luck, I'll be back to check out your results. No pressure, really. Just some encouragement :)

  4. Ugh... what a horrible job... keeps me for ever even entertaining the thought of putting up wallpaper! Have fun!

  6. I hope it goes well! We just bought a house that is all wallpapered and most of it is going to go ... as soon as I start stripping it! I'll be excited to see how it goes for you.

  7. Oh, wow. I don't envy you. We had ugly wallpaper in our master bath. We just painted over it with Kilz primer. Now it is waiting for a coat of real paint. I hate stripping wallpaper! Good luck!!
