our holiday weekend

We were lucky to have beautiful weather here at Lake Oconee for the holiday weekend, sunny with low humidity. Today was a bit cloudy but that's okay as we could all use a day out of the sun.
Over the weekend we... boated, floated, swam, threw the football, fished and caught a 2 lb Bass, played cards, played with pups, met our new neighbors, watched fireworks displays, grilled and cooked and baked and ate cupcakes and chocolate cream pie, yum. Simply enjoyed family time together... the very best way to celebrate a holiday.

We missed you Kris and Ryan... hope you had a great weekend too!
